Whoever said the next generation is our future? 17-years-old and homeless, Rogan Rufflan, is a "Subclass" citizen. He’s not an "Heir"—a genetically enhanced lab baby—so even though he’s at the top of his class, he’s forced to stay at the bottom of theirs. After Rogan stumbles into one of their “projects" he realizes he and his whole school are partaking in a dangerous experiment none of them signed up for. Now Rogan and three ragtag subbies are gonna do everything in their weakness to protect their class, even if that means dying before graduation.
